Tottenham are closing in on a near-£70m double deal for Lyon star Tanguy Ndombele and Leeds prospect Jack Clarke.
Spurs are on the verge of ending their year-long pursuit of France midfielder Ndombele and agreeing a package in the region of £60m.
Having been keen on Ndombele in the previous two windows Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino made capturing him one of his top priorities this summer.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas said: 'He is seeking a departure. We don't have to sell but if there's a big offer the door isn't closed.'
An £8.5m deal for winger Clarke, 18, is also close while Tottenham plan to accelerate their move for Ryan Sessegnon, 19, too.
Fulham have offered him an extension, but he has no intention of signing while European giants Borussia Dortmund are also interested.
Fulham feel Sessegnon is worth £45m while Tottenham want to pay closer to £25m.
