Police footage of two children rescued from alleged carjacker

Police in Tulsa, Oklahoma have released dash cam and bodycam footage of the moment two young children were rescued from an alleged carjacker. 
According to a post on the police department's Facebook page, officers got multiple calls regarding a stolen car about 7.30pm on January 11. 
One report came from the female owner of the car who said her children, aged four and five, were in the vehicle at the time it was stolen.
Officer Pablo Zuniga was able to locate the vehicle, confirming the two children were still located in the back seat.
He tracked the stolen car from a distance until more officers could assist him in apprehending the suspect.
Footage of the incident shows Zuniga and another officer approaching the vehicle with guns drawn, telling the suspect to exit the stolen car.
The carjacker, later identified as Jarrod Gilliam, was pulled from the car before being handcuffed on the ground while more officers search the vehicle.
The children were not harmed and were returned to their mother.
Gilliam was booked on charged with two counts of kidnapping and larceny of a motor vehicle.
