Aaron Ramsey could fast-track his big-money move to Juventus
'as soon as this weekend' but Arsenal are demanding £18million if the Welshman completes the switch in January.
The 28-year-old is set to join Juventus in the summer after he was told last year that he was free to leave the Emirates Stadium.
However, according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta dello Sport
, Juventus are eager to bring Ramsey in as soon as possible and have lined up for the midfielder to fly out to Turin to complete his medical after the West Ham game on Saturday with Arsenal's permission.
The move would see Ramsey complete his move to Italy which would see him earn £140,000 a week in a deal said to be worth £36m.
However, a move this month could be scuppered by the asking price which Gazzetta dello Sport
have revealed is deemed 'too high' by Juventus.
Unai Emery also appeared to confirm Ramsey would stay for the remainder of the campaign.
'My idea and focus, I say to him every day, is with us,' Emery said.
'We need his performances for us and the last matches I am very happy with him.'
Juventus chief Fabio Paratici said earlier this year in an interview with Sky Sports Italy
that Ramsey is an 'excellent player.'
'He's an excellent player. For years he's been performing at a top level,' said Paratici. 'His contract is expiring and we are always attentive to the potential developments. So he falls in that category.
'Will he join us in the summer? That remains to be seen.
'At the moment he's an Arsenal player, certainly we aren't the only ones following him.'
