Utd star Pogba's talks with Real 'stall over £13m a year wage demands'

Paul Pogba
's huge wage demands are holding up his talks with Real Madrid
Real manager Zinedine Zidane
wants the Manchester United
midfielder as he bids to improve his squad after a difficult campaign which will see them finish third in La Liga.
They also went out of the Champions League at the last-16 stage against Ajax.
There are suggestions that Real have already agreed an £86million deal to bring Eden Hazard to the Bernabeu, with the move to be completed after Chelsea's Europa League final.
French newspaper L'Equipe
are now claiming that Zidane has turned his focus to bringing in Pogba.
He has regularly made it clear that he is a fan of the World Cup winner and is keen to bring him in to improve his options.
But the outlet are suggesting that Zidane's interest in Pogba does not outweigh the issue of his wages. Pogba wants £13million a year to join Real. Pogba's agent Mino Raiola is the subject of a worldwide FIFA transfer ban which runs into August.
That would be a problem as it does not fit in with their wage structure. A source told L'Equipe
: 'A Neymar or an [Kylian] Mbappe can upon entry be the highest paid player in the squad, but not a Pogba.'
